Common Orthodontic Problems in Kids
Kids, during their teething phase, face 3 types of orthodontic problems. These include overcrowding, bite issues, and gaps between their teeth. All of these orthodontic problems lead to difficulty chewing, speaking, or maintaining oral hygiene. If you don’t know what these problems are, let’s have a quick look at them.- Overcrowding – An issue where there is not enough space for teeth to grow properly.
- Bite issue – A problem where the teeth don’t align correctly. There are 3 types of bite issues: overbite, underbite, or crossbite.
- Gaps between teeth – An unusual gap between teeth, ultimately affecting eating and appearance.
